Nokia Smartphone with Android One Appears on US Certification Bodies

Recently the US certification body, the FCC has certified a new smartphone belonging to the Global HMD named Nokia TA-1157 and the certification revealed several specifications it carries. This smartphone will be a small size device, which is only 149mm high and 71mm wide. For comparison, the current Nokia 5.1 has a size of 151.1 × 70.7mm.

In addition, this new Nokia smartphone will be available in two memory configurations, namely 2GB of RAM + 16GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM + 32GB of internal storage. Even this smartphone also supports dual-SIM feature, which must be successful in the Asian market. Thus, we can be sure if this smartphone will target the entry-level segment, and even though it is not Android Go, but the FCC label that shows the back is clearly visible on the Android One logo.

At the back, there is a dual-camera setup that suggests that this smartphone will be a Plus variant. This can be seen in the Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 which only have a single camera, but their Plus version has a dual-camera setup in the back. In addition, there is also a fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the main camera.
Other details revealed by the FCC include a battery capacity of 3,000mAh. In addition, there are also NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wifi 2.4GHz b / g / n. The possibility of this smartphone is not Nokia 1 Plus, because considering that Nokia 1 and Nokia 2 are Android Go smartphones. In addition, this device is too ordinary if taken to the MWC 2019 stage, so there is a possibility that the company will reveal on another occasion in the near future.
